Projeto final do curso "Ilustração, tempero e tudo que há de bom" da escola ArteRevide, ministrado por Paula Cruz, com a monitoria de Taty Frankalino, cujo o tema era "Criação de Ilustrações a partir de Álbuns de Música". Para a entrega foi escolhido o 3001 de Rita Lee. O álbum imagina um futuro onde a realidade é diferente, mas nossos problemas, e a essência deles, viajam conosco para onde formos - seja na Terra ou em Júpiter, seja em 2001 ou em 3001, familiar e alienígena ao mesmo tempo. Esse conceito trouxe a imagem do Ouroboros, a serpente que morde a própria cauda, um símbolo de movimento, continuidade e eterno retorno.

Final project for "Ilustração, tempero e tudo que há de bom", a course taught by Paula Cruz, whose theme was "Illustrations from Music Albums". We've chosen Rita Lee's album 3001, that imagines a future where reality is different but the essence of our problems remains the same, not matter where we go - be Earth or Jupiter, 2001 or 3001 - we are still humans. I've worked with space imagery, playing around with the contrast between familiarity and the alien-like unknown, the Ouroboros serpent represent the cycles of life, for they change their skin but remain the same, a nod to the album's general theme.
